Milagro Tequila at SOL Mt. Pleasant

SOL Mexican Restaurant in Mt. Pleasant had their first tequila dinner and it was one to remember. The highlighted tequilas of the evening were Milagro Tequila blanco, reposado as well as the Select Barrel Reserves. The difference between the Select Barrel Reserves and the regular Milagro is the barrels that are used. The regular Milagro uses American Oak Barrels and the Select Barrel Reserves all use French Oak barrels in the distillation process. The dinner complimented the tequilas perfectly; we had chicken tostadas, avocado and crab cake, chicken tacos, shrimp and vegetables, and a pecan tart for dessert. The host, Maria, was very knowledgeable about every tequila we tasted, and that’s not surprising because she is Ben Arnold’s Tequila ambassador for South Carolina. The vibe was wonderful, the food was great, and of course the tequila was amazing. We are so excited for more tequila dinners in the future.
